Senior Jonas Price raced the clock on Saturday to try and break the all-time Franklin Park record at the Sunfair Invitational in Yakima, Wash. His time of 14:56.3 was eight seconds short of the the 1993 time of Mead's Matt Davis.
Four members of the US#17 Kamiakin WA boys team share there thoughts on a day at Sunfair where the team won six of seven flighted races and sophomore Isaac Teeples ran the fastest sophomore time (15:12.5) in meet history.
Geraldin Correa of Kennewick WA ran 18:14 for the fastest time of the day in the girls flighted races at Franklin Park in Yakima, Wash. She was second last year.
